Bank Foot Metro station in the suburbs of Newcastle upon Tyne, was the terminus of the Tyne and Wear Metro Green line before the extension to Newcastle Airport opened in 1991. Between 1981 and 1991 a dedicated non-stop bus service ran between Bank Foot station and the airport.
